Position : Onboarding Recruitment Specialist (Houston, TX)

Job Description : As the Onboarding Specialist, this position is responsible for providing candidates and employees with a seamless transition into the company through an exceptional onboarding experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Screen candidate applications, conduct phone interviews, and arrange in person interviews between the applicant and the hiring manager
Arrange for new hires to complete pre-employment drug test and DOT physical if applicable
Request offer letters and coordinate pre-employment paperwork between the candidate and HR
Assist the hiring manager with ordering company equipment such as cell phones, pay cards and e-mail address
Coordinate and deliver new hire orientation PowerPoint presentation
Ensure new hire paperwork is completed including I-9 verification
Review company policies with new employees and ensure compliance with signatures
Complete all required harassment training during onboarding
Provide new hires with answers to questions, work with the hiring managers to make sure they receive the support needed
Provide and document the required safety and compliance training in order for the new team member to begin his/her assignment
