Job Description : Packaging and Manufacturing Assistant Great Northern Manufacturing is looking for passionate and professional individuals to fill the role of Packaging Assistant. We are looking for an individual who will be working with a variety of packaging and manufacturing tasks. This individual must be task oriented, possess a strong attention to detail, work quickly and efficiently, and be adaptable to changing priorities and tasks as needed.A successful candidate will be motivated, trustworthy, and able to operate both independently and within a team environment.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPackage products for retail sale.Weigh and record product quantities with precision and accuracy.Learn, execute, and uphold product quality standards.Assist with order fulfillment, product preparation, and displays.Assist with product production, including post processing of cannabis concentrates and topicalsAppropriately manage inventory records and all materials containing customer and consumer information.Establish an understanding of AMCO regulations and continue to uphold state compliance.Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and professional working environment.Required QualificationsAt least 21 years of age.High school diploma or GED.Proficiency in basic math.Quick learner and have a willingness to be coach-able.Ability to focus and stay on long tasksAttention to detail.Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.Reliable transportation.Must have (or be willing to obtain within a short period of time) Marijuana Handler’s CardEXPERIENCE / EDUCATION: 1 year of experience in an extraction lab (preferred)Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountPaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Anchorage, AK 99518: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Packaging: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location:One locationWork Remotely:NoWork Location: One location
