Job Description : Small family and criminal law office is looking for a skilled paralegal to join our team! The successful candidate will be able to provide assistance during all phases of the legal process to include the following responsibilities:Assisting with the preparation, filing and service of pleadings.Acting as liaison among all parties including the court, for scheduling and sharing informationOrganizing and managing documents.Coordinating the collection, review and production of documents and responding to discovery requestsAssisting with trial preparation including the assembly of exhibits, binders and appendices for depositions and court filingsSummarizing deposition and trial transcripts and exhibitsResearching case-related factual issues using in-house files and outside reference sourcesThe ideal candidate will have excellent organization skills, pay close attention to detail and have the ability to prioritize workload and assignments. Also, the candidate should have strong legal research, investigation and communication skills. We seek a team player and a problem solver with a positive attitude and enjoyment of the profession.Job Type: Full-timePay: $46,000.00 – $52,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Spokane, WA 99201: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
