Position : Patient Experience Coordinator Opportunity
Job Description : The Patient Coordinator (PEC) impresses others through exceptional customer service and patient care. The role requires an outgoing take-charge personality. The incumbent must enjoy helping people through a wellness way of thinking. The PEC serves as the face of the organization and is able to adapt their approach to different personalities with a “win you over” attitude. The position requires a team player to greet patients, coordinate appointments, manage medical records, and be involved in most aspects of delivering a great new patient experience.Required Skills:Provide excellent customer services to patients, potential customers, and visitors.Ensure patients feel welcome and comfortable with their visits by supporting the patient/doctor flow to and from the office visit.Maximize patient flow, by organizing, tracking and communicating with other associates.Obtain and verify insurance eligibility for all applicable patients.Assist in resolving billing and insurance claims issues.Facilitate and reschedule no shows appointments.Maintain cleanliness and organized appearance of front desk areas at all times.This is a Full Time position with shift hours between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. Prior experience in the medical field is REQUIRED. Vaccination is required.
