Job Description : Packer (Plastic Manufacturing) 2nd and 3rd shift The Packer safely monitors the molding machines, inspects finished products for quality, and packs the finished product. Sign-on Bonus!Essential Functions: Support the shift in the successful operation of machines producing a variety of flower pots and flats for the horticulture industry.Safely work around production equipment and machines.Examine finished product to insure quality according to standards.Count finished product according to standards. Assemble boxes, retrieves plastic bags, string, wire ties, tape, or inserts as necessary to pack product.Maintain a clean work area at all times. Clean up oil, water, trimmings and plastic materials and dispose in dumpsters or recycle containers.Count plastic rejects and take to grinding area. Safely use grinder to recycle scrap parts.Requirements: Willingness to frequently change tasks and help in all areas of the production floor.Willing to learn and the ability to retain what the person has learned.Able to effectively communicate with the entire Production Team.Passion for working safely and promoting team safety.Ability to perform a job that requires frequent to continuous standing, bending, lifting of up to 50 pounds, reaching, climbing & grasping as well as operating machinery that requires hearing protection.Base Pay $17.00 Hour + $2.00 hour in attendance bonus”Work Location:One locationWork RemotelyNoJob Type: Full-timePay: Up to $19.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayNight shiftSupplemental Pay:Signing bonusWork Location: One location
