Job Description : PRODUCTION STAFF (PART-TIME)Trimming/Packaging/Harvest/CultivationSonoran Roots is looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Production Staff (Part-Time), working alongside our full-time trimmers, packagers, harvesters and cultivators. This position allows the flexibility to choose shifts and work in multiple departments (availability varies). It is also a great way to get your foot in the door for full-time positions with Sonoran Roots as they become available!If you are interested in working at Arizona’s premiere locally owned and operated cannabis company, please attach your resume along with a short description of why you are interested in joining the Sonoran Roots team.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – PRODUCTION STAFF (PART-TIME): Process marijuana plants (trim buds, break down plants, prepare fresh frozen material for extraction, etc.).Package marijuana products, including flower (bulk flower, pre-packed flower, trim, pre-rolls, kief) and concentrates (shatter, badder, crumble, sauce, vape cartridges).Assist in related work such as inventory, product preparation, sanitary practices, waste protocols, cleaning of tools and facility, etc.Learn and uphold product quality standards.Understand, abide by, and enforce AZ Department of Health Services (“AZDHS”) rules, regulations and compliance standards.Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.Complete daily checklists of tasks with efficiency and precision.Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and professional working environment.Safely and compliantly move cannabis products throughout the facility.Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail.Keep up with a fast paced and high energy environment. We work hard, but we have fun while doing it!PAY AND BENEFITS: $15.00/hour.Flexible days/hours – you choose when you work from the available shifts! The only requirement is to work a minimum of two (2) shifts per month and at least four (4) hours per shift to maintain good standing as a contractor. We routinely have shifts available throughout the week (morning, afternoon, and evening) and on the weekends (morning and afternoon).This is the BEST cannabis company to work for in Arizona!MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Required): MUST BE 21+ years old.Ability to obtain and maintain an AZDHS Facility Agent Card.Ability to stay focused on tasks and meet production goals.Attention to detail and ability and willingness to follow instructions.Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.Reliable attendance and communication – show up to work when you say you will and do what you say you are going to do.Quick learner, willing to be coachable and flexible with work tasks.Ability to lift 50+ pounds as needed.Criminal background check will be performed; most marijuana-related crimes will not negatively impact an application.Reliable transportation.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (Preferred): Experience in the cannabis industry (formal or informal).Desire for full-time employment opportunities with the company.High school diploma or GED.Cannabis-related education.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This is a part time, independent contractor (1099) position. However, many of our current full-time (W-2) employees began as contractors, and contractors very often transition to full-time employment with Sonoran Roots.
