Job Description : THE POSITION
Do you have a passion for customer service and a desire to learn, while helping people who are might be at risk of contracting and transmitting HIV?
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Public Health Program Associate 2, you would function as project officer and have both programmatic and fiscal responsibilities of grants and participating provider agreements. You would meet with the service providers and fiscal agents throughout the state to advance mutual goals. This job is never boring, the program strives to continually grow and develop. There are alternate work schedule telecommuting options following completion of a mandatory probationary period. People who have an educational or vocational background in the social sciences, human services, social justice, education, administration, budgeting, and/or healthcare are strongly encouraged to apply.

In this job, you would be working with diverse internal and external customers to support the organizations mission to reduce incidents of HIV infection through the responsibility of evaluating and recommending prevention-related proposals; for prevention-related services, monitoring and evaluating provider performance through reviews of reports, on-site visits; provide technical assistance to providers on program policy, standards and requirements; analyzing program activity data, and identifying the capacity building and technical assistance needs of providers.

Work Hours and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.
Work Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm; Monday – Friday; 30-minute lunch.
You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Qualifications:
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements – One year as a Public Health Program Associate 1 (commonwealth title); OR a bachelor’s degree and one year of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training.
