This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, supply chain professional individual seeking a prosperous career with a strong and growing organization.DESCRIPTIONDevelop, communicate, build support for, and implement procurement strategies, plans, controls, and practices. Drive sales and profit growth by developing, executing and measuring results of action plans meant to improve business performance; Tracks sales, turns, ROI, margin, profitability, and department/item performance through sales analysis and financial reporting.Manage the purchasing budget and meet budgetary performance and turn expectations; manage, assess and improve purchasing processes and technology; apply cost control efforts and adjust action plans and strategies according to business needs.Deliver exceptional purchasing department performance through consistent leadership; holding the team accountable; enabling and fostering communication up, down and across departments; initiating and leading company change efforts to maximize desired results; inspiring commitment; encouraging mutual support; and providing information and feedback for process improvements throughout the entire organization; Demonstrate adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.Manage, mentor and develop the purchasing team through consistent practices, task assignment and follow up, purchasing calendars, project management best practice, and ensuring the team have the requisite direction, capabilities and skills to meet expectations.Manage supplier relationships. Identify product trends and areas of opportunity; creatively asses and diversify, expand and/or contract the product mix in accordance to performance, market/product trends, guest and cross-departmental communication.Serve as a member of the senior management team by sharing and applying innovative and entrepreneurial ideas and efforts meant to forward the company’s success.
