Job Description : IT Quality Analyst SeniorFULLY REMOTE BASED POSITION – WORK FROM HOMEJob Description:We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst with strong analytical skills and understanding of databases, as well as experience writing and executing test scripts, to join our team. The Quality Assurance Analyst must be skilled in problem solving, communication, technical writing, and data analysis.The Quality Assurance Analyst will plan, coordinate, analyze and develop test plans, scripts, test cases and test data for functional testing.Translate functional requirements and specifications into documented test plansExecute functional test plans manually and conduct explatory testingBackend database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including validating stored procedures, jobs and triggersIdentify potential quality issues and escalate/report issues in a timely mannerEnsure software deliverables are meeting functional specifications and requirementsQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience. (Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related area is preferred)5+ years of relevant QA experience in software development5+ years of experience in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including creating and manipulating test dataStrong understanding of database structures and designExperience in documenting testing processesIn depth experience working amongst development teams, project management and stakeholdersExperience writing and executing SQL query commandsExtensive experience with Microsoft ExcelDesired skills and experience:Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higherExperience working in an Agile development team is preferredExperience in converting from manual testing to automated testing is a plusSuperior technical documentation skillsSkills and Attributes:Excellent listening and interpersonal skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and requirementsMotivated team playerJob Type: Full-timePay: Up to $46.00 per hourBenefits:Health insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:DatabaseTesting MS SQL Server: 5 years (Preferred)QA: 5 years (Preferred)Writing and Executing SQL query commands: 2 years (Preferred)Agile Development: 1 year (Preferred)remote-based work: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
