Position : Quality Assurance Manager
Job Description : Sofidel America of Heines City currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager. We are searching for a dynamic candidate that is local to the area and is looking for a long term role in a stable environment. Your expertise will make you an important part of our team!As Quality Assurance Manager, you would provide leadership within the facility to drive positive change through influence and example. Implement and monitor a site Quality Management System and a Product Safety Management System based on established group procedures and the local procedures. Ensure compliance to Federal and State regulatory requirements within the quality context. Develop and maintain the facility systems and processes to ensure the finished product meets product specifications.Job Responsibilities: Continue and develop a quality control program to eliminate new and existing defectsManage all aspects of a site Quality Management System within an ISO 9001 frameworkLead full scope of internal and external auditsWrite process reportsManage all laboratory staff, equipment and calibration activitiesDevelop and implement staffing plans and related budgetsWork with suppliers on quality assurance issuesManage provided annual site quality budgets.Review discrepancy reports, and corrective action reportsMaintain corporate quality assurance standards and goalsConduct bi-annual Quality Management Meetings with the site management teamManage all aspects of a site Product Safety System within a GFSI recognized scheme frameworkTrain the quality assurance teamConduct sites visits to assist or audit operations as requiredJob Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a field related to quality or engineering5+ years’ experience in a quality manager role or senior quality engineerISO Quality System ManagementFamiliar with ISO standards and proceduresStrong background with HACCP – internal/external safety auditsSAP Experience preferredAbility to multitask, strong time management, and effective communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Suite of productsRequired to travel up to 20%.Company Benefits: Competitive CompensationProfessional and safe work environmentEmployee referral bonusRetention Bonus401(k) MatchDental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceProfessional training and developmentPaid vacationEqual Opportunity Employer: Sofidel America is an equal opportunity employer.
