In this role, you will contribute to the early talent goals by leveraging your interpersonal skills, strategic mindsets, and in-depth understanding of university programs to enhance Caterpillar brand visibility and target opportunities. We’re focused on identifying the most qualified individuals that align to our core values and competencies and reflect the communities in which we operate. This role helps influence our talent acquisition strategy, builds strong relationships with our internal customers, and uncover diverse talents through both traditional and new & innovative recruiting practices.
Primary recruiting contact for hiring manager. Continually engages with hiring managers and BU/location leadership to understand the campus recruiting needs and required skills; plan, organize and execute university-based recruitment events
Drive university recruitment processes: requisitions/ requirements, sourcing, candidate selection, campus interviews, candidate care, offer management, and onboarding
Influence branding strategy and identify multiple access points to reach students at partner institutes
Collaborate with employer branding team and implement best in class techniques to leverage social media to expand our reach in the country
Advise the team on best in class assessment methodology including supporting the businesses with relevant market data, insights and analytics as appropriate
Manage a portfolio of colleges and universities and cultivate new relationships to source talented interns and new graduate talent
Build relationships that will enable Caterpillar to leverage our investments with campus deans, faculty/staff members in target institute/degree programs, career service representatives, advisors, student leaders, relevant student groups on campus, and alumni groups
Other HR related activities as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of progressively responsible talent acquisition experience in university relations/ college hiring is required
Experience in implementing and executing student engagement programs at institutes and creating talent pipelines focused on diversity talent
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization
Capability to manage multiple internal customers with ease.
Willingness to travel to all India locations for 25% of the time
Relocation is available for this position.
