We are looking for a Research Assistant, to join our dynamic, innovative institution! This position is crucial for performing research work on Monte Carlo simulation using advanced tools such as GEANT4 and GATE to investigate the effect of breast radiation therapy on the development of cardiovascular diseases. What you need to know
Please note: This position is grant funded; future employment may be contingent upon future funding. This position is NOT located in the United States. One must be willing to relocate to Doha, Qatar.

All faculty members and staff members with 5 or more years of A&M System experience in Texas receive a significant salary premium that enhances their TRS annuity or ORP account value. Texas A&M at Qatar provides local insurance coverage and tax preparation services at no cost to employees; additional types of leave that ease the burden of traveling to one’s home country; and reimbursements for compassionate travel. Texas A&M at Qatar also coordinates and pays for the relocation and repatriation of employees and their families, and provides cash allowances for both. Required Education:
Appropriate bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Responsibilities:
Perform research work on Monte Carlo simulation using advanced tools such GEANT4 and GATE to investigate the effect of breast radiation therapy on the development of cardiovascular diseases.
Develop and build an AI model
Prepare conference and journal papers, and actively participate in preparation of required technical progress reports to research sponsors.
Perform other duties as assigned
