Job Description : Division Overview
IT division comprises multiple teams tasked with delivering higher quality products and services to internal and external users. The Core Product and Core Development teams are responsible for maintaining and evolving the ControllerView data management and reporting platform. The Innovations team develops cutting-edge technology add-ons. The Cloud DevOps team develops and supports the Adenza award-winning RegCloud SaaS offering. Finally, the combined Corporate IT and Security teams ensure the availability of secure, dependable, and stable internal infrastructure.
Team and Role Overview
This is a new role in the Corporate IT organization. Your role is to support business units distributed worldwide, with any issue, question, or enhancement proposal they could raise on the Jira ticketing system. You would work with all departments that currently use Salesforce services (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud), supporting these groups in their mission. You would also be responsible for proposing and implementing innovative ideas in the direction of continuous improvement in the usage of Salesforce, and to automating regular/recurring tasks to help achieve better end results. This position affords a unique opportunity to interact with all departments involved in the Software Vendor business, with a deep focus on Customer Satisfaction via improved IT Support Processes
Responsibilities
Reviewing and understanding business requirements and creating functional prototypes to address them.
Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Lighting Web Component, and other technologies.
Salesforce Administration to manage users’ profiles and roles, workflows, validation rules, sharing rules, reports, and dashboards
Designing, configuring, testing, documenting, and deploying high-quality business solutions on the Force.com platform.
Communicating with users regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutions.
Supporting project team members.
Constantly monitoring and reporting on the progress of projects to all stakeholders.
Ensure that issues are escalated and flagged immediately.
Handling daily bug fixes and problems as they come up.
Staying current on Force.com technology changes and Salesforce releases.
Maintenance of sandbox environments including refreshes and release upgrades
Skills And Requirements
A deep understanding of Salesforce administration is required with a strong focus on Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds.
Salesforce administration certificate preferred.
Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (Roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)
Expertise in SFDC Administrative tasks like creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Email Services, Approvals, Workflows, Flows, Validation rules, Reports, Dashboards, Tasks, and actions.
Familiarity with the App Exchange Managed/Unmanaged packages.
Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce connectors/interfaces.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (PowerPoint and Excel) and Data Loader required; Demand tools knowledge preferred.
Experience in working in demanding ISO 27001 certified environments is preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
