Job Description : Engel Burman is a leading real estate developer based in New York, with several housing brands across multiple sectors – all being serviced by an internal marketing team. The company is growing and will soon be entering new geographic areas. We are currently seeking a dynamic, driven, smart, creative and strategic individual to join our marketing team as the Social Media Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the social media landscape for all of our brands, including strategy, creative assets, posting, advertising, analytics, and community management.Our ideal candidate is an expert – THE expert – in all things social media. They use data to maximize performance, keep engagement high, grow follower bases, support the digital inbound strategy, and drive web traffic – all while continuously measuring, making recommendations, and optimizing efforts per channel. They are always thinking of the user experience, audience perception, and brand reputation. The candidate should have a passion for creativity, a love of language, top-notch organizational skills, and always be up-to-date with all the latest platform news and trends. They double check their work for accuracy, seek answers to things they are unsure of, and take pride in their success.The Social Media Coordinator will report to the Marketing Manager and partner across the entire marketing team to activate social media on a multitude of initiatives.Requirements3-5 years of experience in social media management and marketing; agency experience a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, or related field.Demonstrated ability to drive growth and engagement on the following social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn.Well-versed in creating strong, engaging content while capturing the unique voice and vibe of multiple brands.Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, editing, and editorial judgment.Excellent research, organizational, fact-checking, communication, and time management skills.Strategic thinker and problem solver with a passion for measurable results.High attention to detail and the ability to spot mistakes and opportunities for improvement.Full working knowledge of social media advertising platforms.Full understanding of various digital file types, sizes and requirements for platforms.Data-driven with a solid understanding of key social media metrics and experience measuring, analyzing, and optimizing performance.Independent, but also able to collaborate as needed, in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment.Confident with design tools as well as social media publishing, scheduling, and analytical tools.Basic photography and video skills using iPhone, Android, or DSLR.Analytical understanding, experience with data insights, and a working knowledge of social data tools.Must be proficient with the following programs: MS Office Programs, Canva or similar, Buffer or similar, Photoshop & Adobe Suite. Video editing software knowledge is a plus.General knowledge of online marketing, digital marketing channels, web development, and SEO.Experience with advertising and promotion within the housing sector is a plus.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate editorial calendars and content schedules, and collaborate internally as well as with on-site teams to manage content needs for several different brands.Create channel-appropriate and audience-specific social media content (original text, images, video, etc.) across all platforms: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn.Develop social media content strategies to drive continued growth – in both followers and engagement – while balancing with lead-driving initiatives and other brand specific content.Optimize existing channels, ensure that contact information remains up-to-date, and regularly refresh visuals.Oversee all social media advertising campaigns including visuals, messaging, and measuring performance.Reply to messages, hide comments, answer reviews, or field inquiries appropriately and in a timely manner.Collaborate with other departments (recreation, business development, regional operations, etc.) to gather content, manage reputation, identify solutions and coordinate actions.Stay up to date with key platform changes, sharing implications and collaborating with the marketing team on necessary actions or strategy shifts.Set performance goals, and continuously improve and optimize by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices.Maintain and communicate each brand’s defined voice, guidelines, visual aesthetic, and reputation.Identify and nurture relationships with our follower base to help increase reach and grow brand awareness.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payWork Location: One location
