Position : Student Success Partner

Job Description : The MSW Student Success Partner would be responsible for connecting with admitted students to support the MSW program. This position would ultimately be responsible for mentoring, engaging, supporting, and identifying at-risk students to establish a sense of belonging to the MSW Program, College of Social Work, and The Ohio State University. This role would be an asset to help with innovation, growth, retention, student engagement, and satisfaction. Furthermore, the position would help to implement ideas set forth by the MSW Program Director for the Program including adding multiple admission start times, implementation of certificate programs, increasing additional dual degree offerings, increasing student connectedness, overall over student engagement and experience, assisting students with different challenges, including Mental Health, by providing more personal connection.
Required qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work; a minimum of 3 years’ post-graduate work experience. The candidate must be able to work independently, be a strong writer and effective communicator, and demonstrate the ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
Desired qualifications: Experience with advising, counseling, or coaching students. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a collaborative environment, have flexibility, and adaptability.
Salary range is $49,800-$66,400 annually
Regular 40 First Shift
