Job Description : Supply Chain ManagerAn exciting opportunity to advance your career: Buchanan Company, celebrating it’s 80th anniversary, is seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to join our team at our corporate office in Huntington Beach, CA. The Supply Chain Manager will report to the President. The Supply Chain Manager will oversee all facets of the supply chain, inventory, and product management practices across our construction, repair, maintenance, and eCommerce operations. This is a key role that affects the entire business cycle and all departments. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to define process, develop their department and be a part of a collaborative environment!Initiatives you will champion: Create, manage and oversee the supply chain management cycle from needs assessment, setting up supply chain and distribution using internal systems.Purchasing- including supplier assessment, supply base reduction, process integration & supplier relationship management.Operations- including forecasting, JIT, quality, and inventory management.Distribution- including delivery network, transportation mode, and customer service.Management and ownership of ERP & SCM system.Partnering with the IT Manager in data integration with CRM, e-Commerce, Office 365 and more.Identify process & system challenges and implement changes and training.To be successful in this role you will have: Understand and possess the appropriate education and experience to create, maintain and forecast supply needs.Must be comfortable navigating the use of various software applications needed for job.Software use includes ERP, SCM system, MS Office Suite, etc.Knowledge of contract requirements for compliance, evaluation, and application.Understanding of cost accounting, financial statements, economics, and market dynamics.High level of critical thinking, problem-solving, and change management skills.Effective verbal and written communicator with great negotiation and interpersonal skills.A high degree of personal organization, business ethics, and accountability.Benefits include: Weekly pay: Salary negotiable based on experience.Great benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance.Paid Time-Off: Sick, Vacation and Holidays.Stability: We are eager to help you grow in your profession, opportunity for advancement.Growth: We are a growing business, and our people grow with us.To learn more about us, please visit us at: https://buchananinc.comWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
