Job Description : Job Description
Responsible for the leadership and management operations of the campus Testing Center. Ensures all test administration is executed in accordance with policies, regulations, guidelines, and standards. Oversees security and confidentiality of tests and records, scoring procedures, and data collection and reporting. Plans, develops, and monitors the department budget and determines expenditure of funds.
Minimum Base Pay : $49,976.00. All salary calculations start at the minimum salary and will be based on candidate’s education and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervises the administration of various tests. Handles security and confidentiality of State, national, and college tests and records, scoring procedures and data collection and reporting.
Guides, leads, reviews, verifies, observes, and manages the work of people reporting directly and indirectly to you. Develops and trains staff. Oversees the student records management process for direct reports.
Monitors various projects to insure maximum effectiveness and compliance. Supports distance learning activities.
Collects, updates, maintains, compiles, and reports on basic research data pertaining to student testing and evaluation programs. Gathers and analyzes information for monthly and yearly reporting of testing statistics.
Interacts with vendors, contractors and other departments to convey technical project requirements and verify specifications.
Plans, schedules, and prepares user training, including development of training guides, and documentation. Trains users in the operation of new or modified systems and programs.
Develops, maintains, interprets, and executes administrative procedures and practices. This activity includes developing and maintaining manuals regarding policies, procedures, rules, and standards for the College.
Conducts all tasks related to the preparation of the annual and other periodic budgets for a department, campus, or college. Orders, processes, and distributes materials used in administering standardized tests.
Analyzes standardized test results, identifying areas requiring further attention and assists faculty, staff and public in understanding purposes and results.
Resolves system errors or failures. Involves identifying system problems and implementing corrective actions. Problems addressed include hardware, software, and procedures.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications :
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
Four years of related experience
Experience in supervision, and experience in counseling students
Knowledge of:
Testing and assessment techniques
Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
Skilled in:
Motivating employees to apply the effort necessary to attain organizational and departmental goals
Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
Ability to:
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations and take responsibility for a high level of service
Accurately manage a budget
Interact in a positive manner with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public
Research information for problem solving
Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:
