Job Description : Purpose of the Position/Job SummaryTown Square Mortgage is a dynamic, fast-growing mortgage company recognized among the “100 Best Places to Work” by the Dallas Morning News and is also a winner of the 2021 Dallas 100™ Awards. We’re searching for an innovative, collaborative, and motivated Training Manager who will have the opportunity to build Town Square Mortgage’s training program from the ground up. The Training Manager will be responsible for creating, developing, and administering training programs to meet specific business needs for new and existing employees.Key ResponsibilitiesLead employee training for operations and salesPartner with internal Subject Matter Experts to develop training content for both in-person and eLearning trainingWork closely with managers in conducting training needs analysis for developing new training programs and modifying and improving existing programsMaintain knowledge of available loan products, processing procedures, underwriting, and general departmental guidelines.Design, develop and deliver training sessions for new employees to be successful in their roleDeliver practical training sessions including new hire, follow up, and reinforcement trainingSupport in the development and delivery of compliance and operational training throughout the yearConduct or arrange for ongoing technical and development training for employeesDesign and develop learning materials including training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials for training curriculumProvide in-person and remote training to employees on the Encompass systemDesign, develop and deliver training and staff development programs through synchronous and asynchronous learning, including formal classroom, eLearning, and remote trainingDevelop testing, evaluation, and measurement procedures of the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvementParticipate in administrative functions within the Training Department, including but not limited to scheduling, maintaining training documentation, handling attendance records, pulling reports, etc.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications & Skills5+ years of training design and delivery experience3+ years of Mortgage industry experience3+ years of supervisory experienceKnowledge of adult learning styles, principles, and needs assessmentKnowledge of teaching and training principles, practices, and procedures including individuals, groups, face-to-face, and distance learningProven experience in delivering training, support, and coaching for end-users of packaged software programsAdept at getting and maintaining attention/involvement of classroom training as well as remote trainingKnowledge in Encompass360 or similar software desiredKnowledge of building and delivering effective eLearning content through an LMS for LMS usersExcellent computer and Microsoft Office skillsExercise good judgment and strong character, motivated, hard-workingAbility to work well with fellow employees, clients, and vendorsDetailsLocation – HybridSalary Range – $85,000 to $115,000Travel requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: $85,000.00 – $115,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Dallas, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Experience:Training & development: 4 years (Preferred)Management: 3 years (Preferred)Willingness to travel:25% (Preferred)Work Location: One location
