Job Description : Summary of the PositionWe’re looking for an enthusiastic, professional Trust Assistant to join our team! As a Trust Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting trust officers with all aspects of administering trusts in accordance with the trust document and applicable law. The perfect candidate will be detail-driven, result-oriented, proactive, highly professional with strong interpersonal skills, and have the ability to prioritize and use sound judgment. A Trust Assistant should have a desire to eventually grow into an Associate Trust Officer or a Trust Officer role after progressing through on-the-job training and development.Skills and Qualifications RequirementsFull-time availability. Our office hours are 7AM to 4PM, Monday through Friday. This job is an in-office position.Proficiency with Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively is critical to serve our clients and their professional advisors, as well as to work effectively as a part of our team. To us effective communication is: professional, clear, prompt, accurate, and grammatically correct.Willingness to take on responsibility and make sound decisions. Trust assistants play an important role in helping Trust Officers administer trusts in accordance with the terms of the trust and applicable law.* Self-motivation and advanced level problem-solving skills.* Trust assistants must be proficient at driving tasks forward successfully with limited guidance.* Sensitivity to confidentiality.* Must maintain strict confidentiality of all records and data received and produced.Attention to detail. Trust assistants must be thorough and able to keep track of many details accurately. * Ability to provide and accept feedback. *We strive to foster a culture of continuous growth and improvement.
