Job Description : Vice President, FinanceJ&J Family of Farms, a wholly owned subsidiary of NYSE-traded Benson Hill (BHIL), is recruiting for a Vice President, Finance. The position reports to the Senior Vice President, Finance at Benson Hill with dotted-line responsibility to the Co-President of J&J. The incumbent is responsible for all accounting and finance duties supporting the J&J business that reflects corporate objectives and interacts with the managers who directly influence the realization of those objectives. These responsibilities include the reporting of financial results, management of all transactional cycles including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, grower and farm accounting, the preparation and delivery of financial analysis and the management of the budget and financial review process. The Vice President, Finance is also responsible for the implementation and adherence to an internal control structure consistent with Sarbanes-Oxley as required by the parent company.You will…Direct a team of managers and accountants in the completion of daily operations including invoicing, collections, payables, inventory costing, financial analysis, and cash flow management.Manage the company’s annual budget process along with quarterly reforecast activities.Identify and implement process changes, including system or ERP changes, as needed, that improve the efficiency of the organization and/or improve the analysis and reporting of business financial results.Prepare monthly analysis that highlights the key drivers for variances to budget, prior forecast and prior months related to revenue, COGS, other operating expenses, and headcount.Prepare and maintain key KPI’s that align to Company and department initiatives.Support business operations in the negotiation and contracting of grower and vendor agreements.Implement corrective action plans to solve organizational or departmental problems, as needed.Analyze current and future business operations and plans to determine financial effectiveness.Establish and maintain stable cash flow management policies and procedures and ensure cash resources are available for daily operations and business and product development.You have…Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting or Finance) required; Master’s Degree (MBA) preferred10+ years of experience in Finance, with at least 5-8 years of that experience in a leadership roleFinance or Accounting experience in the Agricultural Industry is highly preferred, but not essentialAbility to work autonomously, and be a self-starterStrong written and oral communicationAbout J&J Family of FarmsJ & J Family of Farms is a leading produce grower and distributor strategically positioned as a year-round national supplier since 1983.
