Job Description : WEDDING ACCESSORY MAKERREQUIREMENTSTwo years full-time work experience in any fieldPrevious experience crafting, jewelry making, costuming, metalsmithing, or similarHigh school diploma or GEDMust be able to sit or stand 6-7 hours at a timeMust be able to lift and move at least 25 lbsABOUT THIS JOB: We believe that love and magic are infused into every one of our products. We are not a mass-production factory, but instead a custom bridal accessory design studio. As a Sara Gabriel Maker, you will use beads, wire, thread, and fabric to make heirloom quality jewelry, hair pins, tiaras, and wedding veils one at a time. We take tremendous pride in the artisanal nature of our products – our Maker’s sign the pieces they create each day!Specific job duties include: Setting and gluing crystals and pearlsWirework and spot soldering (no previous experience required)Hand sewing with needle and threadCutting, ironing, pinning, and steaming tulle, silk, and laceMaking 10-20 hair accessories each day, depending on the patterns’ complexityDETAILSThis is a full-time, in-studio position and is not suitable for remote employeesThe studio is open Mon-Fri and you can start your work day between 7:30-9:00am based on your needsBENEFITSHealthcare Reimbursement AccountNine Paid Holidays (starts after 3 month training period)Five Paid Time Off days per yearPaid parkingNo weekend, evening, or holiday workFamily leave policies, Infants and Children at work policies, and support for nursing mothersWHO WE ARESara Gabriel, Inc. has been in business for over two decades providing bespoke bridal veils and accessories to bridal salons and department stores all over the world.
