Position : Zip Line Manager

Job Description : Performs all aspects of the Zip Line Guide position. Responsible for assisting in the training and development of Zip Line Guides. Manages the daily and weekly operations of the Zip Line. Checks and monitors the course daily for any damage. Responsible for staff scheduling and resolving any employee or guest conflicts in the day to day operations or referring them to upper-management when applicable. Ensures employees adhere to company policies and procedures.MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for ensuring our guests, employees, and animals experience the “E.X.C.U.R.S.I.O.N. of a lifetime” and making sure this experience is extended to non-employees our staff members encounterMonitors the safety of our guests at all timesPerforms chores before, during, and after tours to include, but are not limited to, the following: cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash cans, stocking the refreshment area, chopping wood, and cleaning equipmentDaily safety check of the course and equipmentAssists guests getting into and out of all vehiclesPresents guests with quality, accurate information during the tourPresents guests with safety information prior to starting the zip lineEnsures that guests are outfitted with the proper safety equipmentGuides guests through the course while maintaining the highest level of safetyMANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensures employees adhere to the company’s service standards, policies, and procedures and answers any questions or concerns employees or guests may have regarding policies and proceduresRelates employees’ job performance and conformance to the company’s service standards, policies, and procedures and consistently provides feedback, both positive and negative, to employees and recommends appropriate action as needed to Upper ManagementAssists in the training of employees in job performance and conformance to the company’s service standards, policies, and proceduresResponsible for handling employee discipline issues and discussing job performance problems with employees to identify causes and concerns and to work on resolving them.
