Job Description : Complex, responsible financial and analytical work in maintaining and reviewing financial accounts and records. Work involves compiling, investigating, analyzing and auditing accounting records data and records to determine accuracy and completeness.EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Complies and reviews data in order to generate utility bills. Oversees financial recordkeeping and processing unit; trains and assigns clerical personnel. Performs delinquency follow up by using investigative techniques and other sources of information, as well as answers complex inquiries on account balances.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Through knowledge of clerical methods used in keeping and auditing fiscal accounts and records, and the office terminology, procedures, routines, and equipment. Knowledge of accounting transaction practices and procedures and knowledge related to City ordinances and procedures.
