Job Description : Accountant needed for $35 million Credit Union.Port Conneaut FCU is in search of an experienced Accountant to join our management team. The right candidate will control hands-on functions of all the accounting/fianancial records for the credit union. Portico experience is a plus.Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, income and loss statement, and other reports. Maintains financial security by following internal controls. Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations. Responsible for accurate preparation of daily, month-end, quarter-end and year-end journal entries by the 7th business day of the month.
