Job Description : The Admissions Coordinator is a key member of the Lewis Katz School of Medicine’s Office of Admissions.
Responsibilities include implementing various aspects of the Post-Baccalaureate and Physician Assistant School of Medicine Programs admissions cycle, as assigned; processing applications and related materials throughout the admissions cycle; coordinating Interview Days; providing staff support to the Admissions Committee; serving as a resource for applicants or prospective student inquires by phone or email; making presentations to prospective students; and updating recruitment materials (both printed and online); managing faculty interview scheduling for Post-Baccalaureate and Physician Assistant applicants; generating standard and ad hoc reports as required internally and in support of the Post-Baccalaureate and Physician Assistant Admissions Committees; delivering brief presentations about the School of Medicine programs, as assigned; occasionally represents the Post-Baccalaureate and Physician Assistant programs at recruitment events (virtual and in-person); providing administrative support and preparing communication for MD admissions. In addition, the Admissions Coordinator serves as back-up to other administrators in the office to other positions within the office, as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1 year of directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work with a diverse population of doctors, students, faculty, and staff.Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.Ability to operate all standard office equipment and software including MS Office.
Preferred:
Experience with admissions or recruitment in a higher education setting.

This position is temporarily assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
