This includes providing for the security and safety of federally owned / leased facilities, federal property and personnel.Additionally, primary responsibilities include precluding unauthorized access to facilities, responding to unusual or emergency situations, using appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response as dictated by the situation and protocol, making periodic tours to check for irregularities and inspecting protection devices and fire control equipment.
