Job Description : $10,000 Signing Bonus!Relocation Bonus & Performance Bonuses AvailableDevelops and implements a strategic plan for facility; markets and performs public relations to current and potential physician utilizers; manages, plans, organizes, and directs all related functions and activities (internal and external); establishes and evaluates goals, objectives, and standards of performance; develops operating policies and procedures; interprets policies, standards and regulations to the staff, patients, medical staff, and public. Achieves benchmark financial and clinical objectives. Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all activities of the facility according to its policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives. Participates in financial and cost-containment decisions and implements recommendations. Ensures that the facility meets all related local, state, federal, and accrediting-body rules and regulations.Responsible for management of all aspects of the environment of care, personnel, materials/equipment, education of personnel, and administrative duties. Promotes a favorable image of the facility to physicians, patients, insurance companies, and the general public. Works in cooperation with leadership for all aspects of center operations.Essential Job Functions/Competencies· Provides leadership and guidance to other leaders and staff in goal setting, problem solving, resource management, and outcome achievement.· Defines performance objectives and metrics for the center· Assesses the level of competence of staff in a timely manner.· Demonstrates focused, organized and ongoing efforts to recruit and retain physician utilization through marketing and public relations efforts.· All aspects of staffing including interviews, selection of candidates, employee onboarding, coaching and performance management.· Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy work environment by modeling the desired behaviors and encouraging those in others.· Collaborates with other centers to create systems and problem solve ongoing issues that impact center/organizational goals and/or patient care delivery.· Incorporates quality improvement data and/or patient satisfaction data into center goals.· Demonstrates a clear understanding of regulations applicable to patient care and/or other center functions.· Maintenance of regulatory compliance and quality improvement programs including the maintenance of licensure and accreditation.· Ensure that the annual education plan addresses key areas of organizational deficiencies, in-service needs and continuing education of staff. Ensures staff training is completed and that the organization provides market leading patient experience and service to all referral sources.· Demonstrates fiscal accountability for center resources and the ability to achieve outcomes within allocated resources.· Demonstrates responsibility for the center assets through appropriate asset management, protection, and coverage of all inventory, financial accounts, corporate documents, employee and credentialing files, financial records, and the like.· Assist in the development of the annual operating and capital budgets.· Ensure that equipment maintenance and upgrades are completed consistent with manufacturers and industry standards and work with all clinical professionals to ensure the proper operation and maintenance of all equipment for a safe environment.· Oversee all aspects of daily operations to include scheduling, admissions, preoperative care, equipment and supply processing, RCM processes in conjunction with center management staff.· Oversee the patient experience program and ensure the timely response to all customer complaints.· Ensure RCM policies and procedures for verification, authorization, patient information, timely filing and AR functions are adhered to for accuracy and timeliness and as appropriate and required by all payors.· Maintain a high performing workplace and inspire team members to perform their best work while providing a continual customer service/excellent patient experience.· Work constructively to ensure appropriate staffing levels, on-time starts and excellent turnaround times for all rooms.· Develops, updates and ensures compliance with departmental policies and procedures.· Works in conjunction with COO and VP/Controller in evaluation and development of new and existing services at the ASC.· Performs periodic monitoring of equipment to endure adequate function and interfaces with vendors to certify timely repair and scheduled maintenance as needed.· Assumes other duties as assigned.Certifications, Licensures or Registry Requirements· Strongly recommend CASC certification and/or AORN Ambulatory Surgery Administrator CertificateKnowledge/Skills/Abilities· Business acumen: Ability to understand the enterprise as a whole and demonstrate unwavering conviction and understanding of the organization’s direction.· Vision: Ability to shape and cultivate the organization culture and direction, anticipate pitfalls, department needs, and act on behalf of the organization’s best interests.· Consensus Builder: Ability to demonstrate compassion without reservation, integrity, respect, confidence in self and others, generous with time, willingness to understand other perspectives, and invest if the development of other leaders.· Follow Though: Ability to perform at a high level by self-imposing standards of excellence, demonstrating initiative, accountability and responsibility· Motivator: Accepts ideas and help from co-workers to accomplish goals; encourages others to action, provides appropriate direction and opportunity for others to set and accomplish goals.· Personal development: commitment to seek continual self-improvement and growth; demonstrate self-awareness, enhance leadership skills in self and others.Educational Requirements· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing or healthcare administrationExperience Requirement· ASC experience· 3-5 year’s Business-management experience· Financial-management experience· Healthcare-management experience· Evidence of leadership abilities· Strong ethical and moral character references· Language skills adequate for high-level written, interpersonal, and telephone communication in American English· Strong knowledge of computers, word processing, and spreadsheets and email· Urological experience is a plusJob Type: Full-timePay: Up to $150,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceMedical Specialty:Medical-SurgicalSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:All patients and employees are required to wear a mask, social distancing when possible.Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Business management: 3 years (Preferred)ASC: 1 year (Preferred)Healthcare management: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
