QA Automation Lead – Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited
The P&S O2E channel is accountable for the maintenance of Quality & Risk and Custom applications. O2E channel testing team is responsible for the quality of the applications and ensuring the implementation of Agile best practices in the project as per SAFE standards
Work you’ll do
You will be working within the P&S Quality & Risk testing team to carry out test planning, scripting, and execution activities to ensure all integrated applications and technology solutions are thoroughly tested. This role will also be required to have a focus on supervisory responsibilities as well as great attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work according to risk and business focus. As a Senior Test Analyst, you will be working alongside Test Managers to ensure all test activities on projects are executed as per the Test Plan. You will be required to liaise with Project Managers, Technical teams, Test Analysts, Business Analysts, Solution Designers, users to ensure any changes to the apps meet our quality standards. As a Senior Test Analyst, we expect you to be confident leading functional testing activities in projects and releases. We also expect you to be comfortable with other aspects of testing according to our Test Framework including planning, technical prep, scripting, non-functional testing & SIT, coordination of UAT and OAT phases, handover to operations.
Responsibilities
StrategicDeveloping automation test scenarios following a risk-based approach. These should be created from discussions with key stakeholders, requirements documentation, solution design, high-level test plan, business process maps and project documentationSupporting ensuring that all technical preparations have been completed before commencing test activities i.e., test environments stable and ready for use, entry criteria met, test accounts set-up, access devices ready for testingEnsuring that test scripts are maintained and managed within Test ToolsetExecuting test scenarios and managing results spanning integration testing (functional, non-functional) and regression testingSupporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities as requiredSupporting Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) as requiredSupporting reporting on the progress of test activities and against entry & exit criterionSupporting requirements traceability and demonstrating test progress against thisUsing a combination of automated (TOSCA) and manual test scripts to test the installation and basic functionality of the applicationConducting full analysis of the results returned and handing over any defects which, upon review, are found to be valid.Identifying and raising defects against solutionsAdherence to the overarching Test team strategy, process & test methodologies
Key ResponsibilitiesCreating new automation scriptsManaging and maintaining automation test framework, regression, and smoke scriptsCoordinating with test team members to ensure any changes are fed into scriptsContinually reviewing and ensuring alignment to the overall Automation Strategy and FrameworkReport progress and provide any test metrics or reports required to support the Test Manager/Lead.Accurately and comprehensively record defects discovered during the execution of test cases.Continual improvement and ad-hoc test team activities as requiredPerforming Manual Testing activities to support functional team during releases as required

Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology 7+ years experience in a similar role and Enterprise organization.
Essential 3-5 years of test automation experience using Selenium. 1-2 years of test automation experience using any other automation tool preferably TOSCA. Experience using VSTS ADO as source control tools. Good to have experience with source control tools such as VSTS/JIRA Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, VB Script, JavaScript, web services and .Net. Ability to build good relationships & conduct effective technical discussions with peers. Ability to derive automation workarounds when standard approaches are not working.
Good to have Good to have experience with testing automation tools like Selenium and Tosca Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams and ability to coordinate across teams
