ROLE OVERVIEW
Because Vytelle is growing rapidly, we are actively expanding our lab teams! As a Vytelle Administrative Laboratory Assistant, you will be an integral part of our global team that is helping to bring a new certainty to performance, health and genetic progress. Under the direct supervision of the lab manager, this position will support critical day-to-day laboratory operations handling semen logistics for IVF. Please consider that this position requires flexibility to work early mornings (as early as 3-4am at times) during two very busy breeding seasons. Volume does slow down during the summer months.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Checking in semen; entry and exit in our system and to record all the semen that is shipped
Semen logistics (schedule shipments or receiving semen, coordinate with embryo logistics as needed)
Prepare semen for IVFs scheduled the following day
Ensure correct documentation; manage semen inventory requests
Manage all communication regarding semen
Assist in monitoring liquid nitrogen tank levels
To keep the semen room organized
Conduct full semen audits on a quarterly basis
Any other tasks assigned by the Lab Manager
