Job Description : Call Center RepresentativeOn Time has led the industry in medical transportation services in NJ for over 30 years and is a proud partner of Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health System. We are looking for an experienced call center representative who is energetic, a self-starter and can work independently and as a team player.As part of the Customer Care Department, and under the supervision of the Customer Care Supervisor, the Call Center/Customer Care Specialist is tasked with communicating with customers regarding all facets of transportation. This includes, but is not limited to, answering phone calls, entering transport requests from faxes or emails, through EMSLynk, and making confirmation phone calls on transports. The Call Center Specialist is also responsible for responding to general customer service questions.The call center representation acts as primary conduit for the transmission of verbal and written information from external sources to internal partners. Responsible for obtaining patient demographics, insurance information, and medical histories. Duties include a high degree of patient, medical staff and payor source interaction, utilization of patient information and coordination of insurance documentation. The primary duties of the Call Center Representative are as follows:Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Handle high volume of inbound and outbound calls to the call center in a timely and professional manner, providing requested and appropriate information to callers;Provides professional and courteous customer/patient care displayed through professional phone etiquette;Accurately collects all required new patient information, including complete and accurate insurance data and verifies eligibility;Data entry of trip information that is obtained via phone, fax, or email;Maintains confidentiality in all areas, abiding by HIPAA rules and regulations;Collaborate with billing department and dispatch departments to ensure that all information received is accurate;Escalates/routes appropriate calls/tasks received in the call center to appropriate party for resolution;Maintains high level of knowledge regarding company services;Communicates electronically with patients/customers via online portal or other Company communication methods;Obtain payment authorization from insurance carriers;Obtain appropriate documentation such as face sheets from hospitals and upload them to patient record;Actively participate in and complete all required training;Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: High School Diploma, or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of call center experience and 2 years customer service experience;Must have strong or established interpersonal skillsWorking knowledge of EMS systems/private ambulance and medical transportation systems preferredMust have knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookMust have excellent written and oral communication skillsMust be organized, able to multi-task and prioritizeUnderstand and utilize tools such as Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Eligibility tools (Zirmed, MVP Live, Navinet,etc), EMS Anyware, vehicle tracking software, and scheduling software.Work RemotelyNoJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftApplication Question(s):What are you salary requirements?Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Call center: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
