Job Description : Catering Server Herban Feast Catering is hiring stellar Servers! We are a busy Catering company who is booking new events daily after a long hiatus due to Covid restrictions being lifted! If you’re ready to get back to work and have some fun, we’d love to hear from you! We are looking for staff who is available to work mostly on weekends and some weekdays. We pay $26 per hour to start.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESProvides our clients and guests with stellar interactions while serving food and beverages at banquet style eventsUnloads and sets up event items and food in the required and timely mannerPerforms all Front of House serving and other tasksPerforms all assigned Back of House tasksClears, cleans and breaks down events at off-site venues and returns all food and service items to an Herban Feast facilityAppropriately stores or disposes of leftover foodWashes dishes, if assigned to sculleryIs in compliance with the Herban Feast dress code Attends company-mandated trainings and workshopsCORE COMPETENCIES Effective customer service skillsProven serving abilitiesStrong verbal communication skillsEffective multi-tasking and follow-up skillsAccuracy and a precise attention to detailSolid problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work with inflexible timelinesJOB REQUIREMENTSEducation, Training & Experience:Minimum twelve months experience in restaurant service, food or catering serviceMinimum High School Diploma or equivalentMust have current WA State Food Handler’s Permit prior to applyingMust have current WA State Class 12 Mixologist card prior to applyingPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs High level of mobility required; walking, standing, lifting, bending, etcWork Environment On- and off-site catering events at one of our 2 venues or other locationsExtended and varied work hours to meet business needsHourly wage positionWork RemotelyNoJob Type: Part-timePay: $26.00 per hourSchedule:Weekend availabilityApplication Question(s):Please send us a short cover letter so we know you’re interested in the job!Experience:Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
