Position : Chemical Production Operator
Job Description : We are currently looking for full-time Chemical Production Operators in Dayton, NJ. Chemical Production Operators are responsible for the manufacturing and production processes that create Taste products for our customers on a global scale. We have openings for second shift (3:30pm-11:50pm) and third shift roles (11:30pm-7:50am).You Will Spend Your Time…Compounding or preparing process-based flavor batches according to shop floor paper instructions as required by production demandReading, collecting, and analyzing analytical data from the production equipmentPackaging and filtering finished goods and replenishing raw material inventory as necessaryBlending chemicals in Production including manual and automatic dispensingSafely operating forklift and other equipment within the work areaMaintaining a safe working environment, utilizing appropriate safety equipment, and proactively improving the safety culture of the departmentMaintaining processing area and equipment in a clean, sanitary, and presentable condition; adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and exemplary housekeeping standardsWorking in a team to solve problems, develop procedures, and recommend improvementsPerforming other duties as assignedJob RequirementsRequired SkillsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervisionAbility prioritize and work well in a teamAbility to operate forklift and other equipmentAbility to wear a full-face respiratorAbility to lift 50 pounds consistentlyAbility to stand for 8 hours per dayWorking knowledge of SAP preferredBasic math, reading and computer skillsEnglish fluencyRequired ExperienceExperience in a process manufacturing environment preferredHigh School diploma or equivalent (GED)Please note: Positions in the Plant or Warehouse at the IFF Dayton, NJ location are exposed to food particles.
