Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualifications listed as required for a Recording Technician I will be eliminated from the process.Depending on qualifications this position may be hired as Recording Technician I or II.Recording Technician IOne (1) year of experience in a directly related clerical field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities required.High school diploma or GED, required.Meet requirements to become a Notary Public and a U.S. Passport Acceptance Agent required.Possess reliable transportation to be able to work in any County facility as needed and required.The Larimer County Clerk & Recorder’s office employees take an oath to serve as Deputy County Clerks. Also, known as being deputized.Recording Technician II18 months of experience as a Recording Technician I with Larimer County, or in a recording or records processing field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities required.Pass the exam for Recording Technician II.Previous evaluations do not indicate improvement is needed at the Recording Technician I level.High school diploma or GED, required.Meet requirements to become a Notary Public and a U.S. Passport Acceptance Agent required.Possess reliable transportation to be able to work in any County facility as needed and required.Ability to be deputized, required for all Recording Technicians.The Larimer County Clerk & Recorder’s office employees take an oath to serve as Deputy County Clerks.
