Job Description : This role is fully remote, we set a location because some job boards require it.What you’ll doKasa is a flexible accommodations operator that is growing quickly and needs a copywriter to establish a brand voice that is impactful and consistent.This is a “build from scratch” role. Working closely with the Head of Brand (and key other stakeholders throughout the company) the copywriter will develop and apply best practices, standards, and innovation to the way the company communicates with all our stakeholders: guests, property partners, employees, etc. This will apply to all channels: website, paid digital media, organic social, printed materials and signage and others.You will be responsible for all guest facing marketing copy as well as partnering with the Guest Experience, Product Design and Operations teams to make sure more technical, UX or customer service-oriented copy is consistent with our brand voice. You will also be responsible for copy gearing toward internal and recruiting audiences as needed.About the TeamKasa is building a world-class marketing team and you will be one of the founding members. Our Marketing department’s mission is to build a distinctive global accommodations brand fueled by direct relationships with guests, presence on every channel, and outstanding communication with all stakeholders.How you’ll do itWrite crisp, impactful, innovative copy. It may go without saying, but it’s still worth saying!Develop a unique voice for Kasa. Use customer research and intuition to understand our guests and speak to them in an impactful way that stands out from the crowd.Innovate and measure. Always be experimenting with marketing and guest communications copy, develop tests to measure its effectiveness, and then iterate.Partner across the organization. Many different teams at Kasa create guest-facing communications. It will be the copywriter’s responsibility to ensure those voices speak as one.Manage freelancers as needed. Sometimes the copy needs will exceed capacity. In these cases, the copywriter will be expected to oversee freelancers to complete the work.In 6 months, you will succeed at Kasa having: Established a copywriting playbook and circulated it to the companyDemonstrably improved marketing metrics with copy (e.g. email open rates)Developed a language for Kasa that stands out from the competitionWhy KasaKasa is a tech-enabled flexible accommodations brand.
