At the present time, a vacancy exists for a full-time Data Analyst position. This is a critical position that acts as a liaison between Student Services (SS)/Career and Technical Customized Education (CTCE) and administration to provide comprehensive data reports that will lead to recommendations for improvements in efficiency and service across the organization. The Data Analyst provides direct support to executive administration in SS/CTCE. This position will ensure efficient workflow and data accuracy, serves as a liaison to CCIU senior management teams, LEA, and IU partners, and oversee SS/CTCE project development.

Summary of Position:
The Data Analyst is a leader within SS/CTCE divisions that will identify, develop, and/or support administrative process improvements, lead projects, coordinate team member work assignments cross-functionally and make recommendations for solutions, focused on continuous improvement. The position involves managing projects and staff that design and engineer complex data solutions for the divisions involving multiple services, products, and vendors as well as interfacing with customers. This includes developing and enhancing database technologies for internal and external customers.
The Data Analyst is an accomplished project manager with experience in education, communications, web development, and managing data. This position oversees projects to ensure internal and external customer expectations are met, the desired results are achieved, the most efficient resources are used, and the different interests involved are satisfied. This is accomplished by collaborating with SS/CTCE executive leadership to develop project timelines and then manage/update that timeline throughout the course of the project. This position operationalizes team activities by developing agendas for project team meetings and providing a record of meetings by generating the meeting minutes; following up and communicating with team members regarding project status, agreements, and action items; and developing, organizing, and maintaining a record of all relevant documentation for each project in support of the SS/CTCE divisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education and minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
Strong background (5-10 years) in supporting executives.
5 years of data management experience for a large organization that has involved working with issues related to educational mandates and equity and has involved collecting and analyzing data and addressing compliance issues.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat platforms
Experience managing customer relationships, internal resources, and external contractors/vendors.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Maintains organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting SS/CTCE programming solutions
Oversees the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of division projects.
Directs technical projects in accordance with divisional goals, organizational goals, strategies, practices, and customer needs.
Develops and maintains routine customized data reports that allow administration to make data informed decisions in critical areas of operation (e.g., program enrollment, budget projections, program referrals, staff absences/vacancies, medical assistance reimbursement, etc.).
Provides leadership to secretaries within the divisions and helps them provide outstanding support for the entire division with exemplary customer service.
Provides direct supervision of all SS/CTCE data coordinators.
Ensures projects and project teams are properly set up, team roles and responsibilities are clear, deliverables and risks are identified, and detailed project schedules are in place.
Maintains and controls the project schedule. Tracks progress made on tasks.
Defines the project based on stakeholder needs and communicates the status of the project to appropriate internal and external customers.
Organizes project team meetings, issue meeting minutes, and track action items to completion.
Maintains and organizes all files related to a project (i.e., timelines, organization, minutes, related documents) clearly and is accessible to project team members.
Identifies issues and mitigation plans early. Escalates appropriately.
Maintains organizational effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating current state of division wide technology availability to identify trends and make recommendations to executive leadership.
Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintains a safe and secure work environment; identifies professional growth opportunities.
Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, and counseling employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing CCIU systems, policies, and procedures.
Act as a liaison between LEAs and SS/CTCE programs.
Supervise internal and external special education data compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and state regulations pertaining to the education of students with disabilities.
Monitor special education data and compliance at a regional level to anticipate the needs of LEAs
Assist in the implementation of action plans and programmatic activities that address compliance issues.
Assist and provide training to LEAs on Special Education Data Reporting, significant disproportionality, Penn Data/PIMs Special Education submissions.
Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks in coordination with and on behalf of the Division Directors including research, prioritize and follow up on incoming issues and division-wide concerns, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the Division Directors and internal departments and external customers, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.

2021-2022 Salary:
$65,981 to $82,477 annually
