Job Description : Your field of responsibility
As part of the role your responsibilities include:
Work closely with Business Users, Product Owners, Business Engineers, and technology team to understand data analysis requirements. Lead Data Analysis and responsible for all Data related capabilities
Responsible to translate business requirements to AI/ ML based solution
Experience in building end to end model using data cleaning, data analytics, features engineering, model selection, ensemble methods, performance metrics, visualization
Experience of working on the latest Natural Language Processing Techniques (Transformers)
Proven track record in designing, developing and deploying Machine Learning models that built business impact
Working with teams from different business function and divisions to solve complex machine learning problem
Experience of working closely with IT teams and participating in delivery.
Experience of building CI/CD for Continuous Machine Learning,
Responsible to ensure that AI/ ML solutions meets bank-wide ML modelling guidelines and standards

Understanding the different technology domains within the Bank and how the data across domains is interrelated will be one of the key aspects of this role. The Global WM APAC IT organization is responsible for the engineering and support of technology solutions, implementation of change programs, and the associated change, design and data governance for the APAC Division.
Global WM IT provides digital capabilities and technology solutions for the APAC Private Banking business, delivering front to back aligned, high quality IT solutions and services to support the growth and profitability of the Bank, ensure regulatory compliance, drive efficiency and further reduce complexity and cost. Our Digital Private Bank was launched in Asia in 2015 and has won numerous accolades. We have been awarded the “Best Private Bank – Digital Experience” for the second consecutive year by Asian Private Banker applauding us for being “a true fintech pioneer in the private banking space” and for our attention to client experience and the platform’s advanced functionalities.
This position offers remote working opportunities for an agreed amount of days per week.
Your skills and experience
To excel in this role, you should possess:
Excellent academic background with advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related Field
Relevant experience in data, AI/ML modelling related capabilities
Proficient in programming skills in Python with integrated data science, engineering and development background. Knowledge of CI/CD, CD4ML, Continuous Model Training and building end to end pipelines
Experience of working with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, Pytorch, Keras, ScikitLearn, XGBoost, SparkML or similar
Experience of working with latest NLP techniques such as Transformers, BERT etc.
Solid grasp of NLP techniques such as NLT, NLU, Word Embeddings and methods like entity resolutions, topic modelling, text comprehension, voice to text, sentiment analysis
Knowledge of general NN models like SVM, random forest, decision tree, neural networks, GLM
Partner management experience is required to effectively gather the requirements and handle the delivery of data science outcomes
Having understanding of investment banking domain, and financial services products/ customer data will be an advantage
Proficient in agile development practices
Understanding of parallel capabilities on the cloud (Azure, AWS) is helpful
