Everyday is different at Global, and since 2000, our clients, employees, flight crews, and vendor partners have worked together to fuel the continued growth of the global airline industry.Position SummaryResponsible for oversight of complex trip planning, resource scheduling, and the coordination of flight crews and service vendors in managing the company’s operations throughout the world. This position will be the primary contact for the client’s representative and will ensure that Global has fulfilled its obligation by delivering safe and efficient flight support services.Duties and ResponsibilitiesIdentifies, contacts, and schedules qualified flight crew members for upcoming projects.Performs trip planning tasks to include coordinating with vendors to ensure all required permits, handling, and other aircraft services are confirmed.Serves as Global’s point of contact with client’s representative to receive schedule updates, request aircraft details and documents, and arrange third-party services.Oversees all aspects of aircraft projects in manner that achieves client objectives while ensuring safe flight operations and positive financial performance.Supports Flight Crews in the field through frequent communication of project schedules, travel and other on-site arrangements, and Global corporate policies.Provides relevant input into flight operations policies and procedures, vendor relationships, and pilot assignments.Collaborates with flight operations team to prepare proposals, plan optimal flight routings, and determine services required to support client objectives.Performs closing procedures for client projects ensuring the accounting all of direct expenses to support a timely invoicing process.Experience and QualificationsAviation experience in operations or customer services is required. International flight planning or operations is preferred.FAA Certified Dispatcher or Commercial Pilot’s License is preferred.Professional demeanor with the ability to negotiate, problem-solve and manage risk under stressful conditions.Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.Excellent communication skills that demonstrate confidence, assertiveness, tact, and diplomacy as required by the situation.Ability to collaborate with clients, vendor partners, independent contractors, and other employees at all levels to meet operational and financial objectives.Location and Travel RequirementsGlobal Aircraft Services is based in Tukwila, Washington. This position will have the option of a hybrid schedule with remote work in the Seattle-area. Duties may involve working outside of regular office hours including on-call, weekends, and holidays.
