Job Description : Freelance Lifestyle Photographer VIDA Select (VIDA) is an online dating management agency that has been helping men and women meet their ideal match online since 2009. We have a constant flow of incoming clients who are looking for professional photos to make them look their best online. Because of that, we are looking to an experienced, dependable portrait photographer to join our team and work with our clients on a consistent basis.As a Photographer, you will provide the following during a photo shoot when we have a client in your area:Create written correspondence with our clients to finalize details pre-shoot (including, but not limited to site location) within 24 hours of being introduced to clients.Must respond to all photoshoot related emails within 24 hours.Arrive at the location on time and prepare to work outside.Engage with our clients to create a comfortable setting.Be able to help and direct client on posing for the photoshoot.Help make sure clients look their best during the photoshoot.Basic photo narrowing to a certain amount of photos (removing the bad photos – blinking, out of focus,etc.)EDITS NOT NECESSARY.Quick delivery of product (upload raw images to our database) post-shoot – .raw and high resolution .jpgimages must be sent within 48 hours.Required skills & experience that are essential for this position:Experience in professional and candid outdoor photography.Great interpersonal communication skills (both with VIDA’s team and clients).Background in taking informal portraits of adults – ages 20-60; including head shots, 3/4 body and fulllength for online dating style (“lifestyle”) photos.Extensive experience with shooting portraits in natural light and in a variety of outdoor locations, sincealmost all photo shoots will take place outside.Ability to provide composition variety in depth of field.Knowledge of fill flash.First-rate portfolio preferred but not required.Must be a team player.Equipment required:Professional level DSLR.Variety of lenses (wider-angle, zoom, standard, etc.)Powerful flash unit.Job Type: Part-timePay: $90.00 – $130.00 per hourSchedule:On callExperience:Photography: 1 year (Required)Work Location: One location
