Position : Full Time / Part Time Dockhand
Job Description : **Earning Potential Very High based on experience plus tips**As a dockhand you are the face of Lauderdale Marina. Your main objective is to assist all vessels with securing their lines to the dock and also assisting their departure. Greet each and every vessel that approaches the dock. Friendliness and professionalism are expected at all times. Luxury guest service is our goal here. We aim to provide our guests with the best service and the friendliest experience in the industry.Must be able to work full time or part time on a week schedule, which may include early mornings, weekends, and nights. Shifts consist of either 5:45am -1:45pm or 1pm-9pm. Must be able to stand outside in the sun for long periods of time. This job is physically demanding. You must be able to lift 60+ pounds. Lunches and breaks are scheduled. Drinking water is provided.All Dock Hands are expected to maintain a professional appearance. The uniform consists of polo shirts (must be tucked in at all times), navy shorts, and black shoes.Side work at the end of each shift includes emptying all trash receptacles, restocking all coolers, and cleaning of the restrooms/showers. Other tasks will be assigned by the Dock Master as necessary. Dock lines and fuel hoses are expected to remain organized at all times.The pay is based on experience, hourly and bi-weekly with potential for growth, plus tips. Tips are not pooled and are all cash.
