Job Description : Colorado Springs Imaging is looking for a Full Time Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator to join our team!
Summary/Objective:
The Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) is the first to interact with our patients creating a friendly, caring culture with exceptional service. The Bilingual PCC is a key contributor to the company’s scheduling optimization and cancellation reduction efforts. Schedules and facilitates communication in both fluent languages between the Centers and their prospective patients. Serves as support for the entire region and is critical in the success of getting patients scheduled/seen in a timely manner. Supports company initiatives by adopting new approaches, practices and processes to deliver unmistakable quality, spectacular service and operational excellence on a consistent basis. This position operates in a high volume call center typically in a remote setting.
Essential Functions
1. Ensures all queues are processed in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to all
process and compliance requirements.
2. Works through the Scheduler Grid to pre-register and schedule patients (inbound &
outbound calls) communicating in both fluent languages.
3. Conducts tasks of the position in a collaborative, friendly and empathetic way when
dealing with patients, physicians and co-workers.
4. Conducts pre-registration and clinical screening, communicating in both fluent
languages.
5. Asks all screening questions to ensure patient safety and assist with obtaining insurance
authorization, communicating in both fluent languages.
6. Communicates patient status on their authorization, benefits and payment options as
needed.
7. Utilizes the Communication Grid to conduct appointment reminders & confirmations.
8. Reschedules and cancels appointments as needed.
9. Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervision responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a call center environment away from the outpatient clinical environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear.

Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
Three plus years’ experience in customer service – healthcare environment preferred
Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
Dual language required
Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
Strong communication skills & professional demeanor
Education/Certifications:
Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (GED)

Position Pay Range $15.95 – $19.20
