Job Description : General Technician ** Must live (or currently reside) on Oahu Island, Hawaii **Hawaii Unified (HU) is currently seeking highly motivated construction professionals to join our company in the General Technician position. At HU, we are adaptable, flexible and work with a sense of urgency – and, so do our employees. If you are self-directed General Technician that possesses a good knowledge of carpentry, flooring, light construction, retail construction, minor electrical, and other trade skills, come grow with us! Our General Technicians can come from any field if they have the desire and ability to learn and grow within our organization.General Technicians are required to perform repair, maintenance, and installations in commercial and retail environments. Strong verbal and written communication skills are must for all technicians and the ability to write up a quote and troubleshoot problems is part of daily tasks. Use of media as supporting documentation (photos and video as needed) is required and the ability to document issues/repairs accurately and precisely is a primary responsibility.
