Position : Imaging Clerk
Job Description : Position Summary:
The Imaging Clerk Interns will help the Records Department with digitizing physical files into the firm’s electronic records repository.
Essential Functions:
1. Collects and sorts client files from file rooms and hallway filing cabinets.
2. Reviews and indexes files according to department procedure.
3. Completes accurate data entry into Records and Scanning software.
4. Prepares files for scanning by removing staples, paper clips and other fasteners.
5. Scans documents using a high-speed desktop scanner.
6. Confirms delivery of scanned documents to the document management system and ensures images are legible and clear.
Qualifications:
Must be a current high school or college student over the age of 16. The ability to stand, stoop, bend and kneel throughout the day in order to lift or push boxes is required. The Clerk must be able to keep up with a very detail orientated and fast paced project environment, and must be able to follow instructions and work within a team and independently.
