Integrity, quality, and client satisfaction are our guiding principles of doing business, and we pledge to provide clients with superior construction services in a safe and enjoyable work environment.At Grae-Con, we focus on:· Integrity· Quality· Client SatisfactionJob Description: Our Marietta, Ohio office is in search of a Industrial Piping Estimator that is a ambitious, creative, motivated individual who is driven by the desire to be a part of a strong, charismatic team.Existing Industrial Piping Estimating experience is a plus but not required! The primary responsibilities of this person include, but are not limited to, the following for our commercial and industrial construction client base throughout the Great Lakes region.* Supporting the sales, engineering, and field production departments in managing client expectations* Displaying a clear understanding of the technical specifications, timing and scope of projects, estimating and assuming costs.* Develop relationships with architects, engineering firms, government agencies and other potential customers.* Following up on and responding to customer inquiries* Maintain and develop relationships with Subcontractors and Vendors.* Read, review and interpret specifications, drawings, etc in the bid request.* Develop a clearly defined list of inclusions and exclusions throughout the takeoff and estimating process.* Following up on bids with the client base and providing follow up information as necessary.* Participates in the project turnover, startup and strategy planning meetings* Ensuring a high level of internal and external customer service.* Supervising workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and technical integrity.* Utilize the company’s estimating tools and techniques in addition to the accounting software.* Serving as a primary contact for customer inquiriesRequirements: * Degree in operations, business, construction management, communications, or similar fields of study* Project management experience is a plus* Current Certifications and Licenses are a plus but not required* Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office* Excellent written and verbal communication skillsCompensation: At Grae-Con, we recognize that our employees are the driving force behind our tremendous success.
