Maintenance Worker – Engineering – Evenings

Explore this opportunity to join our team of dedicated Facilities members: As a Maintenance Worker at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital you will perform mechanical and electrical repairs on fans, pumps, motors, turbines and piping systems. In this role you will be responsible for painting, filter cleaning and chemical treatment of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems. You will repair pneumatic, electric and electronic controls and perform scheduled maintenance programs. Experience repairing pumps/motors, troubleshooting/repairing high pressure steam systems.
This is a full time, Monday – Friday from 3:00pm – 11:00pm, with rotating weekends and holidays at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville
Required Criteria
High School Diploma or GED
Demonstrated knowledge and 3-5 years experience in general and preventive facility maintenance
Troubleshooting maintenance problems utilizing a full scope of general maintenance knowledge
