The share (BULTEN) is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.Read more at www.bulten.comVacancy detailsJob titleOperations Manager – Streetsboro, OhioEmployment TypePermanentDescription and tasksMain duties/responsibilities:Manage the overall operations and production of all in-house products as assigned to Bulten NAPlanning and organizing production schedulesImplement and promote a culture of continuous improvement in manufacturing operations, setting and achieving stretch targets and objectives for relevant functions within OperationsWork with engineering to determine capability to produce, required tooling, and cost work-up for the purposes of quoting new businessEstablish, measure and report out KPIs that provide valuable information for evaluating performance, productivity, quality, financial objectives, EHS and others as assigned and determining opportunities for improvementStay abreast of techniques and equipment used to manufacture products, providing an asset strategy that supports commercial and overall Bulten North America business growthPartner with Operations Managers in other Bulten manufacturing locations to ensure read-across and best-practices are implemented across the organizationEstablish, manage, and maintain a quality culture, promoting transparency up and down the organization (as appropriate)Work with the quality and supply chain teams to identify and maintain strong outsource business partnersDevelop, propose and manage approved operations budgetManage all tooling, including inventory, re-work, etc.Ensure all customer requirements relating to shipments and stock control issues are in line with customer demands and Bulten policies.Ensure all financial targets are achieved in line with approved set budgetsManage, coach and develop direct reports, ensuring excellent service is delivered and relationships developedEnsure development, performance, capability and absence is managed in line with company policy and the needs of the organizationProvide support to all the teams in ensuring all customer specifications/requirements are metEnsure sufficient capabilities/resources are available to deliver the required service levels/shipmentsKnowledge of and adherence to Work Instructions relevant to roleKnowledge of and adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949Responsible for the communication and adherence of all direct reports in all matters relating to management systems requirements.Knowledge of and adherence to Bulten’s Code of Conduct and other group policies including:o Health and Safety Policyo Environmental PolicyAssist as required with any other reasonable request in line with business needs or customer/client requirements as set-forth by Managing Director and COOCandidate ProfileBachelor degree (or equivalent) in engineering or operations management. Strong working knowledge of automotive quality systems and expectations.
