Job Description : About this role:
You will work as part of Operations group within Consumer & Small Business Banking in Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.
The role would be under The Estate Care Center (ECC). Estate Care Center is responsible for serving as Wells Fargo’s central group for managing the work and customer experience for families who are handling the asset and liability accounts of a loved one who passes away.
The role would require working in a team of Operations Processors to fulfill work type for Credit Card Customer who is deceased & meet service level agreement as defined by the business. The processor 2 in this role will be responsible for various types of research and maintenance.
In this role, you will:
Uses online proprietary and public forums to confirm a date of death, including review of death certificates.
Credit Protection Benefit review (insurance on the account).
Preventing Recurring Charges and pending Check By Phone/OTIS Payments.
Completes accounting of outstanding balance to determine accurate amount owed by decedent’s estate.
Perform Fee Reversals.
Reviews state statutes to determine appropriate routing of account based on balances owed.
Identifies and segregates charges made after decedent’s passing.
Reviews court-issued legal documents to determine individual(s) designated to represent estate.
Complete and accurate documentation.
Determines proper course of action and coordinates this through Deceased Management’s established process and policy.
Required Qualifications, International:
2 plus years of operations experience, legal processing experience, Credit Card Operations, or combination of all three.
Graduate or equivalent.
Attention to detail: Accuracy and Thoroughness in accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involved. Performing with a level of transparency and mastery of our work environment that results in no surprises.
High Productivity – To increase efficiency and expense discipline. Fulfills responsibilities by exceeding and or meeting established goals.
Reliability: Take personal accountability for understanding and delivering on goals and commitments.
Strong analytical skills. Exceptionally meticulous.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Flexible with working in US operational hours i.e., India night shifts & quickly adjust to schedule change as needed
Schedule to be considered open-ended. Additional/extended hours may be required based on business need
Work may require support during weekends and on some holidays
Desired Qualifications:
6+ months estate management experience preferred
Knowledge and understanding of Hogan and FDR (First Data Resources) systems
Exposure to Wells Fargo ECaR (Enterprise Collections and Recovery) system
Ability to perform general operation processing work
Basic knowledge and understanding of legal terms and processes
Basic Microsoft Office Skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines
Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to provide strong customer service while listening, eliciting information efficiently, comprehending, and resolving complex customer issues
Ability to navigate multiple computer system windows, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Ability to perform general operation processing work
Basic knowledge and understanding of legal terms and processes
