Job Description : At A Glance:
We’re looking for an all-star Payroll Coordinator to join our Apollo family. In this position, you’ll be responsible for accurately processing timely payrolls, reviewing entries for possible discrepancies, responding to employee inquiries, and auditing previous payrolls.
Important Information:
Responsibilities
Prepare payroll for processing; review entries for discrepancies and resolve issues before submission to payroll company
Work within the Company’s in-house database comfortably
Interface with employees, managers and with the contracted payroll company via email, phone, or personally within the office
Tackle audits on previous payrolls, record findings, interface with managers to make payroll corrections if necessary.
Research to resolve payroll issues promptly and with accuracy
Requirements
2+ years of experience in payroll
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
Superior capability with MS Office Suite software, particularly Excel
Excellent verbal and writing skills
Capable of working independently with initiative
Strong customer service skills
Enjoy problem solving
Work calmly under pressure and within time sensitive deadlines
Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and work with frequent interruptions
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work with large quantities of data
