Job Description : Payroll ManagerGENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Seeking a diligent and customer service focused Payroll Manager to join our rapidly expanding team! The Payroll Manager is tasked with overseeing multi-state payroll processing and operations for an employee population of 500 growing to 1,000 in 8 months. Opportunity to partner with the various functional areas in HR, accounting, and field operations and provide practical solutions to common payroll needs.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:· Responsible for bi-weekly and spot pay payroll and timekeeping processing for company· Business process owner for payroll and timekeeping systems· Partner with operations management to verify accuracy of timekeeping records and promptly resolve any discrepancies.· Responsible for organizing and overseeing any updates and changes to the payroll and timekeeping onboarding processes, ESS and MSS· Ensure timely and accurate processing for new hires, terminations, salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes, etc.· Subject matter expert on any payroll, timekeeping and pay inquiries· Manage multiple state minimum wage and overtime requirements.· Working knowledge of payroll tax reports and ability to work with outside vendor on payroll tax filings· Leads internal and external compensation analysis· Partner with HR to ensure proper and timely employee communications.· Responsible for all payroll and timekeeping related reporting.· Partner with accounting to ensure accuracy of payroll related general ledger entries.· Other duties as assignedEDUCATION: BS degree preferredEXPERIENCE:· 5+ years of experience working in payroll administration in a multi-state small to mid-size organization using an outsourced payroll application· 3-5 years of experience working in time-keeping administration using an outsourced timekeeping application· Experience with UKG (Ulti Pro or Kronos) strongly preferred· Experience with Deputy timekeeping preferredREQUIREMENTS:· Proficient in full cycle timekeeping and payroll processing· Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills· Highly productive in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment with strict deadlines· Commitment to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality· Knowledge of relevant state and federal pay practices· Knowledge of employee interface files with benefit vendors is helpful· Knowledge of pay cards a plus· Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus· Strong Microsoft Office skillsREPORTS TO: Director of Human ResourcesFLSA STATUS: ExemptPHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is performed in a typical office setting, no lifting standing, or stooping requirements.Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Payroll management: 4 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
