You’ll also have full access to the ping pong table when you need a break, and a potpourri of snacks and refreshments our clients send us for doing such a great job.What we’re looking for Our payroll specialists genuinely enjoy providing WOW customer service to our clients. They consistently anticipate their clients’ needs, respond quickly to their inquiries and are empowered to make decisions that are best for their clients.The most important responsibilities of this position are providing personalized consulting and accurate payroll processing for our clients.To be successful in this role, you will be able to handle a large client volume requiring advanced and complex payroll processing services and solutions. Most importantly, you are organized, have great attention to detail and excellent communication skills.ResponsibilitiesGather information on hours worked for each employee.Build and maintain relationships with partners. Give personalized consulting, build rapport, and provide quick responses to their inquiries.Handle large client volume requiring advanced and complex payroll processing services and solutions.Train clients on use of the payroll system.Prepare, execute, and package reports & paychecks.Process taxes and payment of employee benefits, workers compensation, etc.Keep track of hourly rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information, etc.Address issues and questions regarding payroll from clients and management.Prepare reports as necessary.SkillsProven experience (1+ years) in processing payroll desired but not necessarySolid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detailProficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and payroll software – Preference for Kronos Workforce Ready experienceTrustworthy with attention to confidentialityExcellent communication skillsExceptional relationship buildingHigh school diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in business, accounting or relevant field is a plusNo payroll experience? No problem!
