Position : Process Mechanical Superintendent
Job Description : Your Job PurposeAs a Process Mechanical Superintendent working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the booming semi-conductor industry in Ocotillo, Arizona.The Process Mechanical Superintendent coordinates onsite with the Process Mechanical trade subcontractors to ensure that the construction work is installed safely, of the highest quality, and in accordance with project specific cost and schedule requirements.Your Job ResponsibilitiesHave a detailed understanding of the contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, process mechanical systems interrelationships, construction sequencing and project schedule.Lead the coordination and planning of the process mechanical and controls installation.Facilitate problem solving, as may arise, between process mechanical subcontractors during construction.Validate design issues related to process mechanical and suggest alternative solutions.Assist in the receipt and review of process mechanical submittals.Ensure that any process mechanical changes are being incorporated into the field work.Direct, monitor and control the activities of process mechanical subcontractor.Schedule and procurement tracking for process mechanical scopes and equipment.Liaison with consultant, process mechanical design engineers, inspectors and relevant staff.Ensure that MEP subcontractors provide and adhere to relevant QA/QC requirements.Prepare task specific plans for all high risk and shutdown activities.Assist in the integration, start-up, testing and commissioning of process mechanical systemsRequirements: 5+ years of experience as a process mechanical Coordinator or process mechanical trade supervisorStrong grasp of mechanical and electrical systemsProficient computer skillsExperience with systems start-up, testing and commissioningPrior experience working in the semi-conductor industryBenefits Health insuranceDental insuranceVision CoveragePaid Time Off401kParental leaveHealthcare spending or reimbursement accounts such as HSAs or FSAsEducation assistance/ Tuition reimbursementEmployee discountsLife/AD&D InsuranceAbout LotusWorks LotusWorks is a trusted partner to the world’s leading companies in North America and Europe for over three decades.
